Mayu Kunihisa “PLATEAU -To Love the transience and selflessness, GURU GURU-”

Mayu Kunihisa, winner of the Sakuya Konohana Award is having a solo exhibition at Creative Center Osaka from February 21. Kunihisa creates circles using her own body, as a pair of compasses, using her size to set their diameters. In 2022, Kunihisa held solo exhibition at Sokyo Annex(Kyoto) and SOKYO ATSUMI(Tokyo). Awards include Special Prize from the Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art in 2018.

Various events will be held during the exhibition such as gallery talks, gallery tours, and a live performance and video installation. An open house will be held prior to the exhibition on February 19 and 20 to allow visitors to view the set up for the exhibition. We hope you will take this opportunity to visit the exhibition.
