Jonathan Hammer is 2021 recipient of the Arp Foundation Fellowship
Jonathan Hammer is 2021 recipient of the Arp Foundation Fellowship in Berlin. Hammer has long been an authority on Zurich Dada whose founders included Jean Arp and Sophie Taeuber. His book about Hugo Ball, BALL AND HAMMER, was published in 2002 by Yale University Press. At the Arp Foundation, Hammer will have access to the collection and archives in order to further his book on Sophie Taeuber (Follow the Thread: Hammer on Taeuber Arp). Taeuber Arp has a forthcoming retrospective in Basel Kunsthaus, Tate Modern and MOMA, NY.
